Tap dancing with Anne and Oskar

11 November 2025 / 9:15 and 10:30 a.m.
Kleist Forum Frankfurt – Studio Stage

You need music to be able to dance. Conversely, there are also dances that become music themselves. One of the best-known examples of this is tap dancing. Those who have mastered it can play the drums with their feet. How does that work? Our orchestra goblin Oscar and our music educator Anne Kathrin Meier, who has been tap dancing with particular passion for many years, will demonstrate this at this nursery concert.

Oskar and the Wooden Pipers

16 June 2026 / 9:15 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.
Kleist Forum Frankfurt – Studio Stage

Woodwind instruments are like other instruments: there is a whole family of them. The bassoon hums deeply. If you imagine it as the father of the family, then the oboe would be his daughter. She sometimes reminds you of an opera singer. The clarinet, on the other hand, is something like the cheeky cousin. She is the acrobat of this family. It can sing as high as an oboe and as low as a bassoon. While the oboe and bassoon are mainly found in classical orchestras, the clarinet loves to perform in a wide variety of musical genres. Our orchestra goblin Oskar introduces the bassoon, oboe and clarinet in this concert.
