Joseph Haydn’s grand oratorio The Seasons will be performed at the Philharmonie, a truly special choral work. Musically, it depicts the cycle of life and death in the natural world. Haydn vividly portrays nature and the passing of the seasons here in the musical language of the Viennese Classical period. Choir Director Florian Benfer will conduct the Philharmonischer Chor Berlin and the Brandenburg State Orchestra Frankfurt.
