Alexander Krichel has recorded seven solo albums featuring works by his favourite composers Modest Mussorgsky, George Enescu, Beethoven, Mozart, Ravel, Chopin, Schumann and Liszt. All of these solo projects have been enthusiastically received by critics. His two Rachmaninoff albums have been particularly praised. The more recent of the two is entitled »My Rachmaninoff« and includes the Corelli Variations, which the pianist will perform on the concert grand in the atrium of Frankfurt City Hall during this recital.
