Anniversary Concert »30 Years of the State Orchestra«

Impressions from our anniversary concert on 10 October 2025 in Exhibition Hall 4 in Frankfurt (Oder), captured by photographer Winfried Mausolf. The concert was conducted by honorary conductor Howard Griffiths. Cellist Benedict Kloeckner was our guest soloist.

Our guests of honour included Brandenburg’s Minister of Culture, Dr Manja Schüle, and Brandenburg’s Minister of the Interior, René Wilke.

China tour 2024

At the end of September/beginning of October 2024, the BSOF undertook its first tour of China. The tour led from Shenyang in the northeast of the country via Changsha, Wuhan, Shanghai, Chongqing, and finally to Zhuhai on the coast of the South China Sea.

Begleitet hat uns auf dieser Tour die OPUS KLASSIK-Preisträgerin Tianwa Yang. Die Konzerte, die wir in einigen der besten Konzertsäle Asien geben durften, leitete unser damaliger GMD Jörg-Peter Weigle.

After three tours of Japan, this was our fourth concert tour to the Far East.
