The first symphony concert in the Neuruppin concert series features Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy’s Symphony No. 1, which the composer – already a musical child prodigy – wrote at the age of just 15. This will be preceded by Carl Maria von Weber’s Clarinet Concerto No. 1. With this programme, we are once again honouring the 200th anniversary of the composer’s death this season.
