Every year, international masterclasses are held at the Musikschule Hugo Distler e.V. in Petershagen/Eggersdorf. These are intended for particularly gifted young musicians. As a highlight, competitions in the various disciplines are held for the course participants following the masterclasses. At the final concert, the prize-winners perform alongside the Brandenburg State Orchestra Frankfurt. This is where up-and-coming musical talents come together with the state’s largest symphony orchestra.
